General Members are a network of employed open source professionals who represent organizations engaging in open source management and operations and act as a quality-assurance body for TODO Group resources and tools
Organizations that have or are actively building an open source strategy / policies for using and contributing to open source ecosystems often choose to support TODO by becoming General Members. This overview deck provides more detail on our structure, membership benefits, and opportunities to get involved.
Joining TODO Group as a General Member comes at no additional cost for eligible Linux Foundation member organizations. Eligible TODO General Members are organizations that:
- Are of the Linux Foundation members (including LF umbrella foundations such as the Cloud Native Computing Foundation), or qualify as LF Associate Members (governments, academic institutions, NGOs), and
- Have, or are actively building, an open source / FOSS strategy and basic policies for using, contributing to, and releasing open source
Participation in the TODO community is open to all. Individual contributors are always welcome, regardless of employment status or company affiliation. Within the TODO community, you can explore different ways to get involved and make contributions to the community.
