We’re excited to welcome Dawn Foster as the newest TODO Group Ambassador. Dawn has been a long-standing contributor to the TODO community, helping organize OSPOlogy Live events in Europe and connecting the global OSPO community through her work with the CHAOSS Project.
As a TODO Ambassador, Dawn aims to expand OSPO awareness and community engagement in the United Kingdom and across Europe by organizing local meetups, supporting OSPOlogy events, and continuing to share open source program management insights through writing and speaking.
Bio and Contributions to TODO Project
Dawn Foster has over two decades of experience working in open source positions at companies like VMware, Intel and Puppet with expertise in managing people, open source strategy, building new communities, and managing existing communities with a particular emphasis on developer and open source communities. Dawn is currently serving as a Board Member of the CHAOSS Project and Co-Chair of the CHAOSS OSPO Working Group. She is also on the board of OpenUK and previously served on the TODO Group Steering Committee from 2021 to 2022.
Dawn’s contributions to the TODO ecosystem include:
- Organizing OSPOlogy events since the program’s early days and representing the intersection of OSPO practices and community health metrics
- Frequent speaker and writer on OSPO-related topics, sharing practical insights through her blog and conference presentations
As the first TODO Ambassador based in the UK, Dawn plans to help connect the local OSPO community through meetups and events, while continuing to support OSPOlogy initiatives across Europe.
